WordPress Backup
I know you’re a WordPress user, so I wondered what you’d be able to recommend for backing up my WordPress posts/layout/etc.? I’m looking to upgrade to the 2.2 release, but I’d like to backup before plunging in. How do you guys backup?
I backup my WordPress database through my hosting company, Dreamhost. Most hosting companies should give you an option to backup your data through them. Wordpress.org has specific instructions on how to do it.
Or, you can use a WordPress Plugin, like WP-DB-Backup. If you’re not familiar with using plugins, click here for information on how to install and use them.
