		<description>I'm pretty sure Flip4Mac is a free download for those who just want WMV playback capability. You need to pay for the conversion capability, but if all you need is playback, you can save yourself the $30. VLC is another alternative as mentioned above.</description>

		<description>I, for one, am a die hard &lt;a href="http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm" rel="nofollow"&gt;Flip4Mac&lt;/a&gt; user. I find it more "pro" than VH, and value the personal support I can get from Telestream...as well as their commitment to updates.
Perian seems to be a good compliment to F4M for compatibility playback. I rarely use VLC, but it can come in handy for avi.

		<description>I personally recommend VLC.  It can play ANYTHING.  So if you go with the VisualHub converter, then you can use VLC as a player for all of those pesky codecs that you can't find.  :D
