Wireless Speaker Systems
What wireless speaker system do you recommend?
The one I’ve seen that I want the most is Pioneer’s MT-01 Power Line Sound System. Unfortunately, it won’t be released until mid-July 2007.
As of TODAY, here are my choices:
The iCast Sound System is versatile. I’ve tried it and it’s awesome. You can plug in audio from any source into the transmitter, connect the receiver to a stereo and you’re good to go.
If you’re just wanting to transmit audio from iTunes, go with the Airport Express and a Model One Radio. The combo, at about $200, is one of the most affordable solutions. It’s frustrating, though, that it doesn’t transmit ALL audio from a Mac. It would be a killer device if it transmitted audio from DVDs. At a very minimum, it should transmit audio from iTunes video. It doesn’t…only audio.
