Hi Cali and all,

I'm looking for a wiki I can run off my own home network at home so the rest of my family can access it via the network?

I have two private blogs with htaccess. It's easy to set up your Wordpress blog to be private. And when you set up a wiki, you can set it to be private or public. Some wiki sites charge for private access. I've never had an issue.

Dear Cali ;)

Thanks for your info! I'm interested in the same technology (I think wordpress is fine) to organize my stuff for university. But I'm really concerned about security. Because I want to add some scans and so on. Do you think htaccess protection is good to prevent access? Because there will be some copyright material wich is of course then only for my eyes to learn. Is it hard to bruteforce htaccess protected websites?

Best Regards
