Watch the Same File on WM and AppleTV

I was wondering if you could help me out with my Dopod 838pro with WM5 and being able to play your Geek Brief Video Podcast on it. Currently I have tried Sompy Player, PocketTV, and Beta Player. None of these work (and I didn’t expect them to mainly because of the H.264 codec you use for the podcast). I understand that you have it in another format as well but besides my Pocket PC I am a Mac home and I also watch stuff on my Mac and through my Apple TV so I am really not wanting to have to download something twice so that I can watch it anywhere. So please help. If you know of a WM5 video player that I can either download for free or even for a fee then please let me know.

The closest I can get you to that goal is to download the WMV version, and use Flip4Mac to view on your Mac. But that won’t get it on AppleTV. I don’t know of a plug-in or anything that won’t cause you to take extra steps to get that same file on AppleTV, and I’ve searched but no luck. I’ve asked at the forum to see if anyone has come across something: http://www.gbtvtalk.com

I wonder if there is a way to hack Apple TV (I don’t have one) to use the Democracy media player? I use it to download GB and a score of other programs. If that could interface with Apple TV, it would be a great internet TV platform solution.

I use a DELL axim X50V and watch video podcasts on it all the time without having to do any conversions. I use coreplayer 1.0(http://www.coreplayer.com/). It has the H.264 codec and has worked like a charm. Best $20 I ever spent.
I also use an x50v. I normally watch the brief on my iPod, but i have, on occasion, used the pda. I use TCPMP (the re-branded beta player mentioned in the question).
The H.264 codec isn’t included with the player, but it used to be - if you search old download archives, you can find the codec.
