Stream Desktop to Ustream

Do you know if there is a way to stream the contents of your desktop to Ustream on a Mac?

CamTwist is an interesting application that has a lot of fun features, like the ability to add special effects and stream your desktop. Some of the special effects are purely just fun, like putting bubbles on the screen, or making it look like you’re going up in flames. Other features, such as text, zoom, an RSS ticker, image overlay and a clock, can be quite useful. Chris Pirillo has put some of these to use. You can see how he’s done it at live.pirillo.com. To use special effects with your iChat video, try out ChatFX.

When you’re using streaming video services such as Ustream.TV and Stickam, CamTwist allows you to stream your desktop. It also works with Skype and other services.
For streaming your desktop using Ustream, click on “Go Live”, then “Advanced Settings”. Change your Video Settings to “CamTwist”, then “Apply Settings”. Your desktop will show up. Then, when you want to change back to your webcam, just change your Video Settings again.
