
My husband has a MacBook Pro with a mobile broadband express card. Is there a way that he can share his Internet connection with me?

Yes, there is, and it’s super simple. Here’s how. Go to System Preferences on the MacBook Pro.

Click on Sharing, then on Internet.

Make sure your express card is listed in the “Share your connection from” drop down menu. Also make sure the “AirPort” box is checked. Then click on “Start”. You’ll get this message:

If you’re okay with that (and you are), click “Start” again and you’re ready to share!
