Do you use any type of screen protector for your iPhone…do you think they are necessary?
I don’t currently use a screen protector on my iPhone. I’ve been pretty proud of myself because I’ve only dropped it once. Protection is never a bad idea, but Apple did a pretty great job making the iPhone tough. Invisible Shield provides really good screen protectors for just about any gadget you own.

If you do get a protector, I can’t say that I’d recommend any of the kind that offer the privacy feature. I’m preparing a review of the Revo iSkin case which includes a privacy-style screen protector. After I tried it out a few minutes and got some sample pictures for the review, I ripped the thing off post-haste. It was awful.

good call on invisible shield. the ones that apple recommends and sells at their store are also good for the screen only — the power support crystal film set for the iPhone.
