It records the screen and audio and is used for all sorts of PC WM* type encoding. I use it to record real time screen captures - it only saves in WMV format for video and I think it is only Windows. Works great though and free. You can tell it to record a window, section of the screen or the whole screen and you get the expected encoding options for file size and rate.
