Download Flash Videos
I want to save a video I found on YouTube. But, of course, it’s Flash. Help me!
There are several ways to download and save Flash videos from Web sites like YouTube. The easiest for YouTube, in particular, is kissyoutube.com. All you have to do is add the word “kiss” to the URL of the video you’re watching. Save the file with an .flv extension.
If you want to save video from a site other that YouTube, it gets slightly more complicated. But no worries, it’s just an extra step! Note: Wait for the video to fully download before moving on!
Copy the URL of the video you want to download. Go to KeepVid.com and paste the URL in the box. Click download. Again, save the file with an .flv extension.
Now, for watching your downloaded videos…
You can watch the videos using something like the free FLV viewers from KissYouTube.com.

Mac/Windows FLV Player
Or, you can convert the files to a format that works on your iPod or AppleTV.

works fine with youtube but i havent tested it with anything else
Will either of those convert a flv file??? Last time i checked my Cucusoft software it didnt do anything with flv’s :(
What you should look at is vixy.net
I fiound this site and it is absolutely amazing. You type in the URL of the youtube video, choose the output format (anything from .avi, .mp4 etc) and it converts for you and comes upp with a download link.
This should solve all of your problems … hopefully
